Chew Valley Lake is a great spot to take the kids, or just have a quiet afternoon wandering about.
If you enjoy wildlife and nature this is for you, home to over 260 species of birds there will be plenty to keep an eye out for including Ospreys, and American Waders. If you’re a keen fisherman you can fish for trout and pike on the bank or in a boat. (permit required)
There are picnic areas, a lovely play area and a couple of lovely nature trails to walk along.
Food and drink is available with the fabulous Salt & Malt chippy a firm favourite.
Chew Valley Lake is just over 20 minutes from Mendip Ski Camp.
