Around an hour away, Bath is a little less local than some of our other local attractions but it is well worth the visit.

As a World Heritage City, Bath is steeped in historical landmarks, from the stunning Bath Abbey, to the must-visit Roman Baths -almost every street reveals a building of some historical interest.

If shopping is your thing then Bath has it all, from high street favoutites like Primark and Apple, to more the more exclusive Jolly department store. The cebtral shopping area has a vast range of popular shops but walks about five minutes and you’ll find the local indepeneent shops.

There are restaurants everywhere from fast-food and cafes to the more up-market and unusual fare.

Bath can get hectic so you might like to unwind in one of the citys parks within walking distance or maybe even a visit to the Thermae Spa built on the nautral hot springs!

Parking can be expensive
If you’re planning to stay more than a few hours consider using one of the regular park & ride bus services located at every major road into the city.
